Online physiotherapy

Guided sessions where being in the room is not necessary. Online care works well for some problems and not for others — the practice will tell you which yours is before you book.

What online physiotherapy can and cannot do

Being straight about the limits is part of the assessment. Online care is a real option, not a substitute for every appointment.

Online works well for

  • Explaining what your problem is and what affects it

History, movement and goals can be reviewed on camera when that is enough to guide the plan.

  • Exercise programmes, with your technique watched and corrected

The physiotherapist can see how you move and adjust cues in real time.

  • Progressing or regressing a plan as you improve

Loads and exercises change as you change — online sessions can keep that on track between visits.

  • Advice on posture, work setup, pacing and load

Desk, sleep and daily habits can be reviewed in the environment where they happen.

  • Follow-up between in-person appointments

A check-in after clinic or home care so the plan stays aligned with how you are doing.

  • Guidance for a caregiver supporting someone at home

Safe ways to help can be shown on video when hands-on clinic care is not required that day.

You need to be seen in person for

  • Hands-on assessment and manual treatment

If the problem needs touch, palpation or manual techniques, you will be booked in person.

  • Anything needing physical testing to reach a conclusion

Tests that must be performed in the room cannot be completed fully online.

  • New, severe or rapidly changing symptoms

The practice will advise medical or in-person assessment rather than online care alone.

  • Post-surgical care where the surgeon has set physical precautions

Precautions and hands-on progression often need a clinic or home visit first.

If your problem falls here, the practice will say so and arrangeclinicorhome careinstead.

The process

How an online session is arranged

  1. Step 1: Message the practice

Describe the problem and that you are asking about online care.

  2. Step 2: Suitability checked

The practice advises whether online fits, or whether you need an in-person assessment first.

  3. Step 3: Session arranged

A time is agreed and the session link is shared.

  4. Step 4: Plan and follow-up

A programme you can do where you are, reviewed as you progress.

Getting ready for your online session

You will need a device with a camera and enough space to move safely in view of it. A time is agreed and the session link is shared. Session pricing is confirmed by the practice when you enquire.

Questions about online care

Can a diagnosis be made online only?

Some problems can be assessed partially on video; others need hands-on testing. The practice will say if an in-person visit is required first.

What do I need for a video session?

A stable connection, space to move safely, and clothing that shows the area being discussed. Have any reports ready to show on camera.

Is online care cheaper than clinic?

Pricing follows the same practice rates communicated when you book — ask on WhatsApp for current fees and what is included.

Do you offer physiotherapy at home?

Yes. Home physiotherapy is available in Lahore. Home visits require an advance payment when booking.

Is online physiotherapy available?

Yes. Online sessions are offered where they are appropriate for the problem. Message the practice and the coordinator will advise whether online care suits your situation or whether an in-person assessment is needed first.

Is a female physiotherapist available?

Yes. Tell the coordinator when you message the practice and it will be arranged where availability allows.
